| Description: This is a busy position, handling new and existing commercial business with premiums ranging from £2,000 - £100,000. The candidate would be expected to handle telephonic, e-mail and faxed enquiries from new and existing customers This would entail dealing with clients in keeping with FSA guidelines, obtaining risk information, preparing risk presentations for submission to Insurers and underwriters. The applicant should be focused on maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure client retention. The candidate will be expected to handle instructions from existing clients as well as deal with renewals. The role also involves data capture, underwriting, production of policy documentation and written correspondence with clients and insurers. The candidate must be able to work to a high FSA standard without daily supervision.
The Benefits Salary is negotiable up to £25,000 The Person The successful candidate will have a minimum 3 years Commercial broking experience. They will be confident and have good written and oral skills. You will have the ability to build good relationships with both clients and Insurers/underwriters. You will have a sound knowledge of the FSA requirements within a broking role. Professional Qualifications Progress towards your ACII is expected although not essential.
